Sorry for the delay in posting! We spent the last few weeks road-tripping through northern Chile and Argentina and finally got around to compiling all the video we took.
If you’d like to follow our route on the map, here is a quick description: from Mendoza we headed north in Argentina through San Juan, Ischigualasto, Chilecito, and Fiambala (great hot springs!). We then crossed over Paso de San Francisco at 15,500 ft above sea level into Chile and descended down to Copiapo and Caldera, Chile (at sea level on the same day that we crossed the pass!). From there we headed north to Pan de Azucar national park, Antofogasta, and San Pedro de Atacama. At that point we decided to cross back into northern Argentina where we visited some small towns before heading to Salta. After Salta, we headed south through Cafayate and couch surfed with a family in Belen.
We are now back in Mendoza for a couple weeks before we head to Santiago where we’ll be house-sitting for some missionaries (friends of friends of ours) for three weeks.
